It is my understanding that Toyota calls for Irridium spark plugs. I'm also going with the tell I get from a certified auto tech. here on answer to take car to Toyota dealer. I do know that the dealer as generally costly than oother fix shops. I'm in dilema.

Of course.
You can do that yourself, just purchase the fix manual in case you don't know anything about mechanics, and do it yourself.

Iridium Sparks 'Denso" four x $12.00 =$48
PCV Valve $8.00
Fuel Filter $12.00

All for $68 and two hrs of labor if you're unexperienced.

OR

Take it to PepBoys or Autozone Im sure theyll do it for less than that. Never do maintenance at the dealer unless its under warranty.

Nope. he's just being the dealer. Have you called around to see what Pep Boys or Firestone will charge???
Do Iridium spark plugs really make a difference???
