Truck reved too long before switching gears, now "chugs/slips" when accelerating.?
Yesterday I accelerated and my truck reved for too long its auto, then it changed gears, but now everytime I attempt to speed up it kind of "chugs/slips/jumps around"..

My dad thinks it's a fuel pump problem, anybody else think they know what it may be?

Not a belt problem, we checked those.

there's also a squeak when its just idleing, and when you speed up the squeak gets louder

the squeak sounds like a loose belt. the missing problem sounds like a fouled plug.
