i posted and question yesterday stating a exhaust leak on my dodge ram and I was incorrect.. I have to know who may help me with detecting a vacuum leak of my 2003 dodge ram 1500 4.7 it's showing my engine light in my truck and the computer is telling me its a vacuum leak .. help me

you may be able to use a hand held vacume pump at different points of the system to create a suction. Once you create the suction, watch the gauge to see if it drops. Also listen and look for leaks from area to area.

take the battery loose for five mins and that shold fix the engine light. check around the throttlebody for a loose hose..get some carb cleaner and cleanup the flap around the throttle body and see if that assists.
