where is the vacuum modulator located on a 1991 caprice classic?

you may want to be asking the chevie people, this is the Ford corner. but I do not think they have used one of those in years :

it do not have one,its all computer controlled now,they have not used modulators on transmissions in years now,good luck I hope this help,s.

Should be on the transmission. The vacuum line runs from the carb down to the tranny.

list time I looked it was on the back of the trans by the out put shaft.

The vacuum modulator is on the right rear of the transmission near the rear of the service pan, just follow the vacuum line from the engine and you'll find it. it'll be a brass color with painted rings around it probably blue or yellow, to check it just pull the hose off and look for liquid, if its wet replace it make sure not to loose the short pin that will be at the end of it.
