See if this will assist. It has sketches of the shapes on the front of the heads and descriptions of where they come from.

Yes, just look @ the front side like on the front of the engine of the heads if, you may be able to see one of 'em and you may be able to see the double humps 202cc intake valves right there one the head s, themself.

These are great heads for any 327 350ci. I had a set of 'em on my 73 350ci/4spd Nova SS Back in the Days and it performed well with 'em,

The ones that, aren't the double hump heads 192cc, I think will have like a tri angle form, instead.

Good luck.

Don's right on the money. On the front towards the radiator of both heads there's a raised part that seems a filled in B where the head is bolted to the block. If the motor has a large two inch dampener on the end of the crankshaft you have a "golden piece". It may forged TRW pistons and a healthy camshaft. If the intake in aluminum I like to see it.

I had a 350 horse 327 in a 65 Chevelle that could go 14.0 flat @102 mph with a large box and 3.73 gears. I loved that car.

In 1966 Bill "Grumpy" Jenkins built a 66 Chevy two with one of his motors and suspension that ran in the low 12's on seven inch M&H Racemaster tires. What a Hemi buster that car was. The only Hemi ever to defeat him was fellow York Pennsylvanian Jere Stahl.

On a '66, the humps will look more like little pyramids than rounded humps. Most of them were only on Corvettes but could fit any small block Chevy engine except the '70s Monza 262 V8s and supply a performance improvement. The 327 was arguably the best engine Chevy ever made, excluding the new Corvettes. The rounded hump heads about 1957 to 1962 models did not have mounting holes for alternators or power steering pumps. they're RARE these days.

don,s got it right...except they are not 202cc...they're 2.02 inch intake valve,s...the famous double hump or [camel hump head,s [also called fuelie head,s...have intake valve,s at 2.02 inch...exhaust at 1.50 inch..chamber size of 160 to176 cc,s [depending on the head,s.and big port,s on both intake&exhaust..original iron head,s are more and more rare..but substitute aluminum head,s are available at any performance part,s distributer,s.
