Is the VW Passat good? |
|
I'm buyin' a midsize sedan and thinking of VW Passat, Honda Accord and Toyota Camry. usually, VW Passat is the best.but I heard that there were some problems of the VW Passat. Well, I now have an Acura 25TL 98 and it has lots of problems too. My point is that every car has some problems when they get old.
So.plz answer me. THX

The only problem is when something does go wrong on a VW, its pretty costly to fix. but, its rare that anything really goes wrong because they're well built.

I have a VW Golf, had it for three yrs. and I have had no problems, I could look into the Toyota Yaris although if I goed to purchase a new car. Only due to price, they aren't equipped also as a VW.

Buy what you like so when it breaks and they ALL do you will not mind fixing it. Accord and Camry, nice cars but you can not beat the feel of a German car

I have an '03 Passat and I love it. it is fun to drive and is GREAT in the snow nothing better. But, if something DOES go wrong, it is usually betweeon $500 $1000 to fix. I am now leasing, my lease ends in January. I could like to purchase my car because it still runs great and I like it as much as the day I got it. BUT, I am going with another model most probably the Camry simply because I can not pay for the maintainance costs ex: the 40,000 mile tune up was around $495 and obliged by my lease .

I've always loved VW's. Owned 3 of them, without any problems. I've never owned the Passat, but I have a friend who has one and loves it.
