it's just possible that both low beam filaments burned out. I notice the car is '93, when did you last change them?

Its either the bulbs themselves or the switch that turns them on.

I had same problem and it was the switch on the sterring colomun that was bad.

Is there a headlamp relay? If there's, it may be the problem.

The light blubs themselves sound like they need replacing.

Sounds like the bulbs. but you may want to check the ground.
