Have you had any trouble with yours? Pros and cons of them? I am thinking about to get one.

VW Convertible owners?

No trouble still. I have the 2007 triple white new beetle and I love it. I attempt to 'baby' that car and I get really irritated when I get minor scratches and such.

Pros: they're totally adorable and sooo fun to drive. particularly with the top down. they are pretty good as far as gas mileage 22city, 30hwy . I haven't had any mechanical problems still, but I just got that car this June.but I am sure it is pretty dependable.

Cons: it's pretty costly for a tiny little car. The special edition I got was close to $27,000. But you may be able to find other VW convertibles for around $24K. But I think it is totally worth it.

VW Convertible owners?

I do not know about the convertable part but I had a 2001 VW Jetta at it was the most terrible car I ever owned. Sure it was nice looking and fun to drive and have neat features, but it was in the shop all the time and every time I got on here to ask a question about it people went on and on about how bad VW's are, and they're right, do not let the nice looks and good personality fool you, they're unreliable little cars, I recently traded mine on a Mazda after only five months of ownership. don't GET A VW you'll LIVE TO REGRET IT..unless maybe you're or are best friends with a VW mechanic or parts wholesaler.
