It is an Se R 2.0L.
Its not an sr20det or sr20de.

If you look at the four digit of the VIN # from left to right it should be either a VIN A for a 1.6L, GA16DE. DOHC. 16 valve. M.F.I, or VIN B which is a 2.0L, 1998cc, SR20DE engine. DOHC. 16 valve. M.F.I.

I believe the base engine was a 1.6l I4 and for a SE R it was a 2.0l I4.

That car came with two different "original" alternatives. It may be either, here they're.

L4 DOCH 1.6L, GA16DE, GAS, VIN A
L4 DOCH 2.0L, SR20DE, GAS, VIN B

they really put an engine in these things? Hard to tell. Must be a lawnmower engine. haha

If it's an SE R like you said then it's a SR20DE, fwd variant.
