What kind of milage may be projected from a Volvo S60R? |
|
I know like a Honda Accord is projected to get at least 300,000..how about a Volvo S60R? What kind of mileage may be projected out of such a car?

It depends totally on maintenance and how it's driven. may be gone after 10,000 miles or going strong after 200,000 miles.
That goes for the Honda too, by the way..

Volvos are usually well built and long life vehicles with good maintenance it should outlast an Accord.

This car will be a little heavey on the maintenance side of things, but it'll last easily 300,000 miles. you have to realize all that power equals more maintenance. As a mechanic I have takin separately volvo's with around 300,000 miles and inside of the engines cylinder walls still appear like new, I have done the same with toyotas and hondas and I can not say the same for them.

Probably about 200k to 250k depending on the in general history of Volvos. My Honda Accord dies at 165,000 miles so it depends on the specific, individual car.

This is such a difficult question to answer. For starters, because Hondas can go that long, with either Volvo or Honda you're never promised anything, as every brand you may be able to sadly get a lemon. That having been said, it'll largely rely on how you care for the car, and what, if any, damage is done to it. After all, if you regular chance the oil, maitence the car, are in no accidents, etc it'll have a different result than someone running the car to the ground. Volvos are good strong cars, and overall can last just as long as a Honda, and get many many miles from it. Treat it properly.
