What kind of starter am I supposed to use for my 92 eagel talon that has a 93 eclipse engine in it?

All parts from a 90 93 Eagle Talon, Mitsu Eclipse and Plymouth laser as long as they're same body type tsi to tsi as an example are the same. I own a 91 Eagle Talon TSI AWD and my brother owns a 93 Mitsu Eclipse same style. We salvaged some number of of both types from the year range and used parts on both. When you go to the parts store you may have better luck looking up the mitsu than the talon, or at least that is the experience I have had. If you do have to go to a dealer you may be able to go to a Mitsu dealer. I had to have some engine work done on my talon and took it to a mitsu service shop. After a brief discussion with the service writer, and grabbing one of the tech and him confirming that a talon and eclipse are the same they had no problem doing the work.

Take all your info and serial numbers to your local equivalent of Auto Zone and they can help figure it out. If not. then it is the expense of the dealer for you.
