In my opinion the 356B Spyder was the sexiest and best Porsche to ever hit the road. A timeless classic.

Porsche 959. A techonological masterpiece, and still one of the fastest cars on the planet, in spite of being over 15 years old.

Porsche 959.

The fastest car in the world at 197mph, till the advent of the Jag XJ220. in spite of claims of 202 mph for the Ferrari F40, it only ever reached 195 in independant tests, so the 959 was faster.
Gorgeous to look at also.

The new 997 GT3RS is a great car, particularly in black with orange wheels.

This is a subjective question.

The other day I saw my friend's 1958 Speedster just back from the restorer it was great. And to him the answer most probably could be his speedster.

However, his neighbor has a 1959 Roadster wow, knock your socks off.

My husband loved his 1998 993 large body Carrera S nearly as much as I loved our 1979 911SC.

We have a Boxster that handles great it has a sports suspension in it and it does make a difference.

I guess the answer then it's what ever model you have fallen in love with love how it handles and just have a good time with it wherever you go.

Models that I do not think about that great were IMHO
The original 914 1st two years of VW production but what was great was the 914/6
I would not want a 924 Audi although another neighbor has her original, drove it off the show room floor and loves it. She can not beat the gas mileage and she takes good care of it, so it rarely needs maintenance repairs.
A 944. This is personal I just do not care for it or the 968 but.if you need a car for track only what a honey.
A 928. We owned one. Hated it. six months afterward we were back in a a 930. We called it the ship it went side to side all over the lane when we drove it.
Any prototype. although they're great if you're very wealthy and want to show them off what nightmares to preserve.

But these cars all have people who treasure them.

Hope that assists.

I LIKE THE 97 TWIN TURBO, BUT IF YOU WANT THE complete BEST PORSCHE ITS THE 959, BUT GOOD LUCK purchasing ONE SINCE THEY WERE NEVER SOLD IN THE US, till RECENTLY, A COMPANY OUT OF CALIFORNIA IS IMPORTING THEM AND MAKING THEM US ROAD LEGAL, BUT ITS ABOUT 15 YEARS OLD AND WILL RUN YOU ABOUT A MILLION AND A HALF.., BUT it'll BLOW THE GT AWAY ON TRACK OR IN A STRAIGHT LINE

i could have to say the 2006 911 turbo. the new turbo system takes nearly all of the lag and makes it a remote memory. go to porsche.com and look around for the sounds part. they have a great recording of a 911 turbo accelerating away. the loudest sound coming from the car is the great vacuum cleaner that are the turbo. I swear, it sounds like the turbos are sucking anough air to make the driver asphixiate. c'mon powerball

The VW Beetle. Ferdinand Porsche intended it for Hitler, and it is sold millions global. Indeed, it was only some years ago they stopped making new ones in Brazil.

Look at the 911, it is a fast, stretched beetle.
