it is a pretty generic question. two businesses with pretty long histories that have made quite some street cars also as racing cars, and which is the better?
Putting on the side the specifics of the cars themselves, the heart of each company has somewhat different philosophies which shaped their designs. Enzo Ferrari frequently commented that he sold street cars to pay the bills to keep racing, while Porsche has usually gone racing as a means to more develop and hone the technologies used on street cars. Both businesses have been successful in both the racing and production car realms, but the approach difference continued to define differences in the cars.
As such, Porsches tend to put a higher emphisis on dependability and usability than Ferrari, although Ferrari tends to push the performance envelop although with more agreement . Both cars feature cutting edge technology and excellent performance.
Ferrari's are usually costly, and as such rarer and have more "star power." Porsches are more usable on the street, and frequently more than able than agreeing the Ferrari on the track. Which one is better will rely on which characteristics you most prize.

I owned and now own both Porsches and Ferraris. Honestly, Ferrari is a beautiful car, fast and sounds great, but over priced. I have had lots more fun, and more people are drawn to Porsches as I have seen over the years. I have to say Porsche hands down. they're just as fast, sexy, and have more character.

A Ferrari is no doubt a fabulous sports car.
But is the Porsche better? If not by far.
Porsche holders applaud all the models, particularly the Boxsters.
However, Ferraris are favorites of Billionaires and Rock Stars.
For answering this question, your prize is to pick the one you think has the most attraction,
Which could I choose? Oops did not I tell you? we are both in a dream, and none of this is real ..

Every so frequently a Ferrari owner will get into his car, turn the key and nothing will happen. It will not start. So he will hop in the Bentley to go to work. Porsche holders do not typically have that problem.
A Ferrari is not a sports car. it is a supercar. it is intended to go stupid fast and little else. dependable thay aren't. do not get me wrong, they are awesome as hell, but they tend to break.
Porsches tend to be somewhat slower, but they're also German, makers of the world's finest autos, and the Ferrari is Italian... makers of some of the least dependable autos.

well I own a 2003 Ferrari 575M Maranello HGTC bought a Secondhand about one month ago and honetly its one of the most dependable Ferrari because its Front Engined and I can blow a 430 or a Gallardo with my car which now a days is nearly the same price Second hand although Because the Production of 575M's was over since 2005 as of the 430 and the Gallardo.
But Still a Porsche is More dependable well I know My forthcoming GT2 could be as dependable as a Dog to its Owner and honestly My Ferrari 575M Maranello HGTC use to Miss third Gear Before in Auto mode but now I have got it Fixed its Superb..
So they're both Excelent Supercars.

i personally like the look of a Porsche it has a sexier cool look to it. As for a Ferrari they look tough and go heapz fast. The problem with a Ferrari is that its way overpriced.
The Porsche is for me. <,3
