It ran good intil I left in running while going in to talk to my brother, came back out and it died. We changed the spark plugs, wires, and a couple other things but it just will not start. now, it just sits in my yard collecting dust..I miss my car.

Without more details, attempt some things. 1st, put some gas in it. I am sure you already checked your gas gauge, but they can become flawed on an older car. as well, if you already did this step check to see if your fuel filter is clogged. Going on the assumtion that your car does crank but doesn't start so you do not have to check the starter, also check your oil to be sure it doesn't have a milky color. This could point to a blown head gaskett from overheating this is only probably if you left it running for a long time. Check to be sure you're to get spark in each cylinder. you may be able to do this by touching the spark plug end of each spark wire to your engine block one at a time while cranking the car you'll see the sparks arc to the engine block from the end of the wire if you have spark. If no spark, check ignition coil, distributer cap, rotor etc.
Hope this helps. Good luck.

All good things must come to an end, dearest. possibly it's time for a new one. can not say much else about your problem, only check to be sure that the battery is good, it may be possible that you left something on like your dome light or something.

My 86 Mazda 626 is not running either. I stopped it throughout lunch and it would not start. I have covered some starter liquid into the intake and it starts for just long enough for the starter liquid to burn up, then it dies again.

Try using some starter liquid that you may find at any car parts store and see if you have the same result. If then it may be the fuel filter or fuel pump. I have changed my filter and that did not fix it so it seems like my next step is to change the pump.

Check for spark 1st. If timing belt is broken, you will not get any spark dist not turning . If belt OK and no spark check ignitor. They cost about $125, and one hour to install.
