I've replaced the radiator, the fan clutch, the thermostat, yes the electric fan comes on when it should, it does have the right amount of coolant in it, either the camshaft positioning sensor or the crankshaft positioning sensor whichever one is over the transmission was replacedand also the major computer board thing was replaced. Why does it keep to get hot? As long as im moving it is ok but once I sit for awhile like at a stop light or drive thru the temp guage starts to climb way above 210 like 220 250. Any suggestions?

The only thing left is the water pump. I have seen pump impellers that were worn away to the point that they did not circulate the coolant unless the engine was above idle. The only other thing that comes to mind is the coolant. Did you mix it 50/50 with water? Or did you purchase it already mixed. Straight antifreeze doesn't cool as good as the 50/50 mix.

You replaced the bottom radiator hose and left the spring out that keeps it from collapsing from pump suction.

has the thermostat been replaced with another that's set for too high of a temp. or there may be a clog someplace in the coolant piping.

Actual calculated temp at the top hose or a 19 year old temp sender and 19 year old dash board gauge? 230/240 isn't high for a engine that has to meet emissions standards? Your Jeep but should run 210 drgrees with a 14 pound radatior cap that's a new cap right? You know how small the radatior is. Does it really boil into the resv? If it does then test for combustion by merchandise in the steam. You bad gasket or cracked cyl head may tempt you into a new car.

run the moter for some minutes with the radiater cap removed to see if coolant is really circulating. also watch the radiater for signs of air bubbles in the coolant. air bubbles could be a indication of head gasket. also remove the temp senser and install a aftermarket temp gauge test drive. see if it reads the same as the dash gauge did email me after and I'll assist you to finish the diag if you wish

Ok..have too much experience with this and I could guess, much worse with the A/C on. THe problem.NOTHING ELSE WRONG, is lack of air flow and air recirculation at a stopped conditioni.1. 1st and formost, do you still have the fan shroud on and is it NOT CRACKED OR MISSING ANY PIECES?? 2. Unfortunately this isn't that unusual problem, but I'm going on the assumption that everything is OK in the engine. 3. You replaced the fan clutch..did you replace it with a HD Thermal unit or a cheap one?? No, I'm NOT talking down to you, but it's important to use the HD clutch. 4. The problem is so common in the South that there are Three row HD radiators available..Hesco comes to mind.5. mallcrawlin.com/forum//showthread.php?t=6355,mallcrawlin.com/forum//showthread.php?t=6355,">mallcrawlin.com/forum//showth. go around halfway down and you may be able to see two solutions that do work. 6. there's another that I'm now testing with the changed clutch, but I don't want to post here till I'm sure of usefulness.
Good Luck
