When did hilux 4x4 xtra cab change from leaf front to indipendent from year ?
Looking at buying hilux for around ten 000 wanting to change. From last hilux don't like the front suspension any help could be largely appreaciated. I now live in Australia

I am thinking it was around 81 82 for a staright axel or independent axles

I live in Okinawa and I have a 1994 Hilux 4x4 and it doesn't have leaf front suspention
