I',m trying to get the amps to come on, car is a 93 MR2. I know how to wire a stereo, but I'd like to use the present amplifiers and speakers that came stock with my boxes behind the seat.

So, question is. there's a blue/white "amp on" wire coming out of the wiring harness. This is what powers the amp on, i',m thinking that I wire this with the red accessory wire? Just wanting to be sure.

the "amp on" wire is typically called a "remote" wire. its looking for voltage as a signal for the amp to turn on. if you hook it up to the ACC on your car it'll turn on once your key is in the Accesory or Run position. attempt to find a wire coming from your radio marked "remote" or "amp on" or on occasion its the "power anntenna" wire. any of these will work. then it'll only turn the amp on when the radio is turned on
