Where are my spark plugs on my hyundai sonata 2000 2.0 Model?
Anyone know where my spark plugs are, I typically change my own plugs but am having difficulty finding them.

Find the coil packs, then follow the high tension wires. The other end of them will be the plugs.

That is a 6, but the four is alike.

find the distributor which usually has a round plastic head, into which you'll see one lead entering and four or six leads exiting based on if your car has a four or six cylinder engine. follow these leads and they'll feed to your spark plugs in the cylinder head. this is standard procedure on most engines

Hyundai didn't offer a 2.0 Sonata in 2000 at least not in America, if it's a four cyl it is a 2.4. Spark plugs are over valve cover, under a plastic cover. There are two coils and two wires, also.

On top of the valve cover, there's a metal cover and you may want to see the HT leads going into this cover. Unscrew this plate and you'll see the spark plugs which are recessed in the engine. you'll need a socket extension to take off them.
