Where do I turn to sell my Nissan sentra that I,m still making payments on?
I decided to sell my sentra because I can,t pay for the payments anymore. I owe $10,250.75 and it needs brakes and the bad news is the loan company still has the Title, other than,that its a perfect running car. 45,000mls

you may be able to sell it if its not paid off. Your best bet may be to trade it in for a car you may be able to better pay for.

You are more probably to get more money for it if you sell it outright, but that may be a annoyance. Go to a dealership and find a cheaper car..they will give you a trade in value. as an example, if they give you $8k for it, they'll roll the balance into the loan on a new car. but, I do not know of a car that's much cheaper than a Sentra, unless you find a used car or go with something like a Chevy Aveo. Tradng it in prob isn't a smart idea because your not going to get a just market value for it when you trade it in and they'll tack the difference between the payoff amount and the trade in value on to your new loan which will probably be more caused by the higher interest rates.

Also think about bankruptcy? you may be able to use that to re negoiate the loan on your car, and on occasion your only be responcible to pay back the total vaule of the car.

Try a Nissan dealer work a trade on a basic used car.
