sure, SLR has more hp and torque but it lacks in weigh, you can not expect a brick to win a race. Plus the CLK GTR is tuned for racing, it has racing technology onboard. strictly racing.

The SL65 AMG has a higher topspeed and you guys are probally thinking im stupied but its true.they are both restricted to some point but with the limiter the SL65 AMG is faster but if you took the limiter off ya the SLR could dust the SL65 off the road but ya restricted which is what majority of people could do the SL65 AMG is faster.

top speed wise who cares
acceleration and handling are a couple classes ahead of the slr.
i hope you're comparing the old clk race car not the new model, but the clk gtr street model is about the same.

scott'sAMG is totally wrong. with the limiter on, the slr is faster, but with the limiter off of the sl65 the slr has no limiter, the slr is most likely still a bit faster. the sl65 is restricted by a computer, or a chip, that wont let the car go past 155mph.
