After I imported the Impreza GF1 from Japan, it was fast and performed optimally. I gave the car to a friend and on return, the cars capability to pick up speed was so compromised, and it struggled to pick up speed from one gear to the next.

I changed the engine oil, fuel filter, oil filter, plugs, battery, air filter with new subaru spares but the situation didn't change so much. help me understand which engine oil is good for my car. now, I am using Caltex Formula I have not crammed the grade .

How can I increase the cars capability to pick up speed??

Thanks for answers.

10W30 on these engines. Open the motor up..allow it to breathe. That will get you the capability to pick up speed. brighten it up if you may be able to too. Subarus are not over engineered with all that crap that adds weight, but I am sure you may be able to find something. Then put on a performance air filter, exhaust header, and dual pipes. Your engine will breathe unlimited and be able to produce a pretty more hp. Also sounds like the fuel filter is plugged up. Sounds like he drove the sh#% out of it.

Check out AMSOIL at: firstandfinestsynthetics.com/firstandfinestsynthetics.com/">firstandfinestsynthetics.com/.

They offer the BEST synthetic lubricants for ANY application. Motor oils as well as cars, trucks, motorcycles, RTVs, diesel, and marine , Gear lubes, Greases, and auto transmission fluids. also as, air and oil filters, Bosch spark plugs and a range of cleaners, and additives.

Only somewhat costly than, Mobil one but also better. AMSOIL has written evidence in labratory testing, done to compare the different qualities of AMSOIL against the other leading synthetic oils as well as Mobil 1, Castrol, Royal Purple, Golden Spectrum and more.

If these results were "unfairly biased" or inaccurate, do not you think that these other businesses could dispute the results or bring the inaccurate statements to light ? The reason that they do not is because they can not.

In addition to the laboratory testing, there are professional endorsements and pleased buyer testimonials to think about .

But, the best evidence that AMSOIL is the best product for your car comes when you attempt it for yourself and, like everyone else who tried as well as myself , you SEE the improved performance, increased MPG, lower operating temperatures, less engine sound and $ savings with AMSOIL's "extended drain interval" of up to 25,000 miles .

Check it out, look at the info and compare. you are going to change your oil nevertheless if you are pleased with "good" oil, then go to WalMart or your local auto parts and purchase "good oil". If you want the BEST synthetic oil, with the evidence to back it up, go to ..
