Which is the most fuel efficient car or most mileage in dies

Postby TyH » Tue Nov 03, 2009 2:27 am

I want to purchase a diesel car for about 60 km daily so fuel economy is my priority.

I think the contenders are Logan,Swift,Fiesta,Ritz,I20.

Either Swift or Fiesta.

They both are awesome cars.

Logan is good at mileage but it have some maintenance problems.

i20 is the best Performance and good looking car among these but its mileage is less when in comparison to others.

I could propose not to go with Indica Vista as over all driving pleasure is missing considering you drive your car though you get a good mileage and a better space than a Honda city. In small cars Ritz and I20 are best and for sedan Fiesta is best.

Logan is best value for money. The partnership of Renault &, Mahindra isn't doing well and may not last for long so this could effect the production and spares and service for this car. Another brand you're missing is Fiat. Fiat Punto, Palio and Linea are performing great. Verna is another high performing and a nice car.

But I insist you take a test drive of each car and feel the drive and handling that could be best suited for the road and traffic conditions you'll be driving in.

Yes, All cars which you have decide are best in fuel efficiency. But I guess you have miss one of the best car in this range and It',s TATA VISTA or Indigo.

Fiesta was best ever car in diesel from last three years and has won the best Drivers Award in 2007 and 2008. Whereas TATA was most leading company in india for Diesel. I',m not big fan of TATA although they're doing best in diesel in india for indian roads,

Latest Vista record propose that Vista can give you best performance on road with nearly 20KMPL.

If your not intrested in Vista or TATA cars', then go with Fiesta : but Ford is called worst maintenance cars in world,

Ritz is new with K series engine, so can',t comment but good choice.

Swift you may be able to go with this with out think : . The best from last not many years

i20, no comment :

I don',t want to mix up you, but go with better one with all comparison

Best among the cars mentioned by you is .. Fiesta.., in diesel which is running effectively and on highways this sedan gives you mileage of 18/19 and in city 14/15...

Now if you need good after sales service then " Ritz" is the best choice .

Ritz,Swift,Punto,Vista QJ has got all same diesel engine.

i20 diesel highest variant is another good choice but an costly affair..

The car missing from the list is .. Punto .., go and see in showroom its got modern features ..

Logan and Vista : its your choice ..

Choose either Indica Vista which is a competent workhorse from TATA and cheap also.. in maintenance and running. Or, if you're also looking for a class, then i20 CRDI will be an excellent choice.
