if its coming from underneath the car it may be you are bottom end. that could have to do with oil. check you are oil if you are low, put some in it. you may need a new oil pump sender.

check the oil but it has to sit while engine is off on level surface for about eight minutes before you check the oil also it can be the valve springs are worn or you may have a leaking spark plug wire look at the engine in the black while it is running and see if you see any curving comming from your wires also for on much older model fords the EGR diaphram makes a clicking sound.hope this helps

if it clicks while your turning wheel it may be C V joints or it may be as simple as a rock in your tire if its coming from your engine it may be a bad plug wire need more information

You should change the oil. My sisters car was making a clicking sound, and today it stopped working and the engine is shot.

When you change your oil, check the old oil for chunks of metal, and if metal is present take your car to a shop and have it looked at.

most probably your oil is low/out, check it fast or you will screw your car, cv joints make more of a squeak than a click
