The front door driver's side of my 1995 Lexus ES300 will not open from the outside but I am able to open it from inside. The last time I drove the car, I had my car washed at one of those drive through car wash machines at gas stations? Could this caused the problem? Any ideas on what is causing the problem and how to fix it could be appreciated.

it's not likely that the car wash caused the problem. I had the same prob with my 93 camry. take the door panel off. find the linkage that goes from the handle to the lock/inside door handle. the linkage disconnected. The "keeper" is plastic. you'll have to replace this with something alike if you want it to stay.

take off your inner door panel and take a look. something is either broke or disconnected

Have you ever locked your keys inside and had to pop the lock? I did that years ago but when the police came to "pop" the lock, they did not tell me that it could really break it. I could not open the door from the outside eithter with the key. I found that out from my mechanic weeks afterward.
Outside of that, there's most likely a system inside the door that has come loose.
