Why do people hate dodge?

Ive looked around and seen a lot of Dodgemans answers.I have done some research and also from my own personal experiences and I have come to see that 95% of the answers given by dodgeman are spot on.He does know what hes talking about.Now Im not stating that hes the best there's because we could all stand to learn some things every now, then,but what I could like to know is what is the problem why can not we all just get along and help people when they ask instead of bashing the ones that are trying to help.I can tell you one thing although every time I post a question recently on this profile or my other one theres generally someone with a bigmouth that likes to shoot it off instead of offering me the help I asked for,and of all the answers that I have recieved on both profiles its usually been Dodgeman that has given me good answers that I can work with.So in closing Id like to say thenks to Dodgeman and everybody else that was useful

This is clearly a serious question, that warrants a serious answer. it's evident that you do not understand anything related to cars. If you did, you could also know that the reason people pick on dodge man is because lots of his answers are either wrong, or misleading, and any good mechanic could tell you that. He tells people to take it to autozone to get a "free diagnostic" test done. but, those "code readers" only give you the trouble codes, it only points you TO THE PROBLEM AREA, it doesn't "tell you exactly what is wrong with your vehicle", as he and others could have you believe. What typically ends up happening is people wasting money on unecessary parts in the hopes of fixing the problem. How many times will people "throw" spark plugs, air filters, fuel filters, O2 sensors, and more, just to fix a vacuum leak that only needed a rotted $10.00 PCV hose to fix? He tells people to change their air and fuel filters, which is only a basic maintenance item on ANY car, NOT a magic "fix" for all the problems in a car either. His answers generally comprise of a bunch of mispelled words, and grammar that competitors someone at a grade two level. How does one operate a business professionally, without basic reading, writing and comprehension expertise of someone with AT LEAST a high school graduate's level English? Think of how it seems if you're the owner of an costly car, and you bring it in for repairs, and the fix Order is written badly, and the description of the indication is portrayed badly. What could YOU think? I know you'll block my profile, so go ahead and knock yourself out. I just wanted to clarify the REAL reason why people like me, and different others make fun of him.

"been a certified mechanic for 37 yrs." ..something that should not have to be stated if the answer submitted is close to correct, or addresses the asker's question properly and PROFESSIONALLY.

Here's the deal. Dodge Man's answers are no different than the crappy answers you get from Lady's Home Journal. they're 95 % fluff. No matter. I dare you to ask me an intelligent question about cars, and when you get my answer, I dare you to put it up against anything that Dodge Man puts up, and I can ensure you that mine will be better and more informative, and the grammar will be spot on.

The difference between an older mechanic and a young, way too cocky student mechanic is about the same difference between an older man and a teenager. The teenager is generally trying to pick a fight with everyone because he's no idea where he stands in this world. The older man knows where he stands in this world, is sick of fighting, and could favor to fight a respectable opponent. there's no glory for him to beating up a kid who is presumptious. We all go through that phase, anyways.
Besides, I am too old to have to prove myself to anybody, too.
