87 octane is OK and if that's what the dealer recommends, use it. Jules, vehicle lecturer. Australia.

Just use 87. Your little honda has no need for anything more than 87 octane gas. do not listen to what your ricer buddies are telling you..you're usually aspirated, low compression honda engine does not need anything but regular unleaded..it will not benefit for premium.

there really souldn't be a need for it. the fuel injectors may get more clogged on 85 but it takes sveral thousand miles before that starts becomeing an issue. it can also have something to do with the vtec if you bought an ex model

because it is better than ethanol on your fuel pump. a little STP in your tank in the winter time would not hurt either.with a full tank of that 87. it is cheaper.

Its what the engine is intended to use. Anything else is a waste of money.

Your car has a low enough compression that 87 will work perfectly. The truth is if the engine is intended to run on 86 or 87, 93 may not totally ignite and you may suffer a loss of efficiency plus the extra cost. On the subject of the trim level the EX and LX models share the same 150hp V tec engines, only the DX has a 135hp with no V tec. The V6 came in LX and EX and put out 200hp with Vtec.

I think that depends on the engine. My mom has a 93 toyota Camry four Cylinder, and my dad has a 98 Toyota Camry. haha, we're really a Camry family, but I'm the only one now with a Honda. My bro also had one but he got in into an accident and now he drives a toyota Celica. nevertheless my mom, since she's a four cyclinder engine in her car, she uses 87. My dad but, generally uses 89 or 91. My bro, being a sports fan, generally goes for the 91, because he likes to show off. haha. Oh and I use 87 because my car is only four cylinder. My dad has six cylinder his is V6 engine . And SUVs most likely go with 91 or 89 because they have eight cylinder.

The car is intended for 87. 89 and 91 are for more powerfull engines like the Jeep Hemi. but the Jeep v6 is intended to use 87
