Why is is expensive to make a car?

You have to factor in the research and development element that goes with car manufacturing also to the plant, labour and materials.

There',s also pretty hefty marketing and marketing costs, all of which the buyer ends up paying for.

It really isn',t. In the old days it was because you had to make the car',s body out of metal, pay for all the chrome, and all other trimmings. as an example my 1960 Bel Air/ 1964 Coupe Deville could cost some number of more times the amount to make than a modern car could. It',s really very cheap to make a car These days because they're all of such poor quality. The cheap materials plastic and shoddy production standards of modern cars are nearly pitiful. New cars are just hollowed out legos.

PS: Modern cars aren',t intended for looks, what a joke. My cars were intended for looks, modern cars are just boxes.

you can purchase cheap ones for less than 1k from india

but they're put with cheap parts.

they will break down a lot.

but cars tend to be costly as car companys use up millions of /$ a day on designing cars for comfort safty and looks yes on occasion hard to belive

mostly to pay for the machines and the research to make the machines and the "blueprints" for the cars. it really doesn',t cost much to make the car once they have the machines and the "blueprints"

After purchasing it, you have pay for gas, oil changes, and repairs. In most places, you must have insurance on it also.

It all add up to lots of money.
