Yes, you may be able to fit a 427 into an '81. In fact, some early fourth gen. Vettes had a 454 BB '69 70'ish . There may be a small amount of tweaking here and there, but it should not be most of a problem.

sure with the right parts and tranny. possibly a cowl hood setup.

sure, you'll have to put in new motor mounts to do it and you may have a possible hood clearance problem but it may be done.
