 Will the blow off valve work? |

I kow this is a really dumb question but I have been thinking about put a turbo on my engine and I goed to purchase the intercooler and blow off vlave kit seperate and having them installed before the turbo itself. I was just wondering if the blow off valve could still make it is hissing sound without a turbo installed? If anybody could answer me this it could be great.

a blow off valve releases built up pressure from the turbo into the atmosphere when the throttle body is closed acclerator off
the hiss is the from the air from inside the turbo. so no, you can not put one in before.
