Wiring 4 channel amp in car?

Postby 02corolla » Tue Nov 03, 2009 2:19 am

Right my car amp is already wired up and working with two 6x9',s in the rear of the car.

I could like to add two front part speakers.

But when I wired them up and attatch them to the front speaker channels nothing happens, no sound nothing.

I tried the new speakers on the rear channels and they work so it's no problem with my wiring it's my amp.

Could somebody help me get all four channels working.

I have, checked fuses, wiring settings etc.

Amp: JBL GTO 4000

Thanks people.

Yeah that sounds like an RCA problem or maybe your amp. attempt swaping out your RCA',s with some different ones and check your connections on the amp and on the radio. Then if that',s not the culprit then it may be your amp.
